only taxis based at Stansted airport they have to pay BAA a commission

all taxi fares which they add to the cost of your journey this means
that there fares are on average 20% higher than the local Stansted
taxis. Checkers Cars are the only taxi company at Stansted airport that
are allowed to
pick up outside the terminal, all other taxis have to collect you from
the short stay car park. If you are traveling to London Stansted Airport
